We are glad to announce that Speakers application for WordCamp Ahmedabad 2018 is now open. You can apply as speaker from the below Speakers Application Form. Our Speakers Wrangler will review it and will contact you for the same.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Are you excited to share your valuable experience, which is relevant and related to WordPress? This is your opportunity! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What makes the best topic for the speaker\u2019s application at WordCamp Ahmedabad? <\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before that, we need to understand the audience. Our audience will be consisting of newbies in WordPress, Company owners, CEOs,\u00a0experienced developers, designers, freelancers, bloggers, entrepreneurs and professionals from the IT industry. We will try to keep the sessions which will interest the whole audience. We invite the people to share their inspiring stories and real life experiences with the keen WordPress community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speakers selection will be based on your ability to inspire, challenge and support the success of attendee\u2019s professional careers and lives. The topic presentation must consist of a clear description and takeaways for the audience. (Refrain pitching products, companies, and services.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Speaker application outline<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our objective is to cheer the first-time speaker and welcome experienced speaker as well. We believe your confidence and passion for the topic will engage the audience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Slides play a significant role in presentation make sure you create an impressive one.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Session format<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">20 minutes topic presentation and 10 minutes questions and answer session on the same.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This time we have <a href=\"https:\/\/2018.ahmedabad.wordcamp.org\/all-you-need-to-know-about-2-days-wordcamp-ahmedabad\/\" rel=\"nofollow\"> 2 days WordCamp Ahmedabad.<\/a> Day-1 WordCamp day and Day-2 Contributor day. Speakers may apply for Day-1. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speakers need to submit their session, presentation &amp; deliverables link details well in advance for the review purpose.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speakers are also volunteers. Everyone is treated equally at WordCamp, so speakers will receive the same treatment as others.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speakers are not paid to speak at WordCamp, nor their session is meant to promote their product or themselves. The aim is to share their knowledge, and that\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019re selling any WordPress-related products then they should be 100% GPL, in order to apply.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are going to record every session at WordCamp and they will be published online. By applying to speak, you agree that WordPress Foundation has the right and permission to use and publish such media \u2014 which may include my name, likeness, voice, city\/state of residence, or photograph \u2014 for any purpose in any format, online (including, but not limited to, WordPress.tv and WordCamp.org) and\/or offline, now and hereafter without further compensation, permission, or notification.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Deadline<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Call for Speakers closes on 25 Oct 2018.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;d like to propose multiple topics, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic.
